01. What metals can you use for custom stamping?
We commonly stamp copper, brass, aluminum, and stainless steel. The right material depends on the part thickness, shape, surface finish, strength requirements, and how the finished product will be used.
02. Do I need a custom stamping die for my product?
For most custom stamped parts, yes. The die is developed around your part shape, holes, logo, embossed details, and forming requirements. Before tooling starts, we review the drawing to make sure the design is practical for stamping and repeat production.
03. Can logos and patterns be embossed directly during stamping?
Yes. Logos, lettering, textures, borders, and other raised or recessed details can often be formed directly in the stamping die. The achievable detail depends on the material, thickness, relief depth, and design geometry.
04. How do you control burrs and sharp edges after stamping?
Burrs are checked during production and can be reduced through proper die clearance, tool maintenance, and secondary finishing when required. For decorative parts such as perfume labels, bottle labels, bookmarks, and badges, we also pay attention to the edges so the finished parts are clean and suitable for later finishing or assembly.
05. When would you use progressive die stamping instead of a conventional stamping press?
Progressive die stamping is usually more suitable when a part requires several repeated operations and the order volume justifies continuous production. Conventional stamping presses are more flexible for simpler parts, different custom dies, or smaller and medium-sized production runs.
06. Can stamped parts be plated or given other surface finishes afterward?
Yes. Stamping can be followed by secondary finishing depending on the product design. Decorative metal parts can be polished, plated, brushed, painted, or treated with other finishes after the stamping process. The finishing method should be considered early because it can affect the material and tooling design.
